Prior to the purchase of a property, clients will be advised by their solicitor or their bank to have a pre-purchase house or apartment survey completed. This survey is a visual assessment of the condition of the property on the day of inspection and it outlines any issues or defects that have been found. We conduct these surveys and prepare written reports accordingly.
Prior to purchasing a new house or apartment, your solicitor and or your bank will insist on you having a snag list on your new property completed. A snag list is a list of items, usually cosmetic, which in the opinion of the surveyor requires to be rectified prior to the final handover of the property to the future homeowner.
